5. How and Why We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of the Website function. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
8. How We Share and Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers — trusted third parties who support our operations, such as web hosting, email delivery, analytics, and IT infrastructure providers. They may access personal information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations consistent with this policy.
- With legal and regulatory authorities — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to the transferred information.
- With your consent — in any other situation where you have authorized the disclosure.
9. Client Project Data — Our Role as a Service Provider
When we build websites, mobile applications, or desktop applications for our clients, those clients determine what personal information their systems collect and how it is used. In these projects:
- The client is the Data Controller of the personal information processed within their product;
- Geek Tech Solutions acts as a Service Provider (Processor), handling such information only as instructed by the client and only to the extent necessary to deliver the agreed services.
This Privacy Policy governs information for which Geek Tech Solutions is the controller. It does not govern personal information controlled by our clients within their own products; the privacy policy of the relevant client applies to that information.
10. Employee, Intern, and Apprentice Personal Information

- Recruitment records — application, CV, academic certificates, references, and interview notes.
- Engagement records — job title, contract type and terms, start and end dates, work location, and reporting structure.

10.2 Why We Process Personnel Information

- To pay salaries, allowances, and statutory contributions, and to meet tax obligations;
- To manage attendance, leave, performance, and professional development;
- To provide and secure access to company systems and equipment;
- To support temp-to-permanent transitions and internal progression;

10.3 Legal Bases for Processing Personnel Information
We process Personnel information where it is necessary to perform an employment, internship, or apprenticeship contract; to comply with a legal obligation; for our legitimate interests in operating the business responsibly; or, where appropriate, with consent.
10.4 Sharing of Personnel Information
We share Personnel information only as necessary — for example, with government and tax authorities as required by law, with banks for salary payments, with benefit or insurance providers, and with service providers who support payroll, IT, or HR functions under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal information.
10.5 Retention of Personnel Information
We retain Personnel information for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations and to address any future queries or disputes. Recruitment records of unsuccessful applicants are kept only for a reasonable period unless the applicant consents to longer retention for future opportunities. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
10.6 Personnel Rights and Confidentiality
Personnel have the privacy rights described in Section 16, subject to applicable law and to the records we are legally required to retain. We treat Personnel information confidentially and limit access to those who genuinely need it for legitimate purposes. The personal information of individuals who have completed their engagement and left the Company continues to be handled in accordance with this policy.
10.7 Confidentiality, Intellectual Property, and Legal Obligations
All Personnel are bound by contract to uphold strict obligations regarding confidentiality, intellectual property, and lawful conduct. In particular, Personnel agree that:
- Intellectual property — all work products, source code, designs, and materials created in the course of their engagement belong to Geek Tech Solutions or to the relevant client, as set out in their contract and applicable project agreements.

- Anti-piracy — Personnel must not use, install, or distribute pirated, counterfeit, or unlicensed software, tools, or content on Company systems or in Company projects.
- Legal compliance and confidentiality — Personnel must comply with applicable laws and must keep confidential all proprietary, client, and personal information accessed during their engagement, both during and after the engagement.
These contractual obligations protect the personal information, proprietary materials, and legal interests of the Company, its clients, and the individuals whose information we handle.
